December 22nd may be the first official day of winter but colder temperatures are already settling in the Lower Mainland. As the leaves turn colors and fall from trees, your lawn maintenance routine has likely changed from lawn mowing and weeding to leaf raking.

One of the most important tasks is learning how to properly freeze protect your outdoor pipes. This can include a hose bib or any pipes on exterior walls. Also consider insulating outdoor pool pumps and sprinkler systems.
