About North Vancouver

North Vancouver is a great place to live, raise a family and build a great front lawn and back yard on your property. The famous Lions Gate bridge is the landmark of the North Shore pointing people to head to Squamish and Whistler, or catch the highway heading east.  The Capilano River is the westside of North Vancouver.  Central North Vancouver City and the District of North Vancouver is famous to many tourist attractions that even the locals enjoy.  Lonsdale Quay is not only a marketplace providing local food and crafts, but it’s also the landing point for the Seabus, a 15 minute boat ride that ferries people from the North Shore right into the heart of downtown Vancouver.  Grouse Mountain, another great local ski mountain and one of the best vantage points to see all of Vancouver, is just a 15 minute bus ride from Lonsdale Quay. Just off the main road towards Grouse Mountain is the quaint little Edgemont Village, which hosts an annual movie night and summer concert series. North Vancouver is the home to many hotels and bed & breakfast spots.  The Pinnacle Hotel and the North Shore Holiday Inn are situated in prime locations for visitors.

It is about the lifestyle on the North Shore that attracts people.  The North Vancouver school district is highly reputable and living anywhere as beautiful as Deep Cove, central Lonsdale, or Cleveland Dam is a gift. Thousands have moved and made the North Shore their home as it’s one of the most sought after places to live. Property values for single living dwellings on the North Shore have been steady and rising while other parts of Vancouver Metro have increased in development condos and apartments.
